Kanas City, KS (August 16, 2023) – Several victims suffered injuries as a result of a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Monday evening in Kansas City, Kansas.
At around 9:00 p.m. on August 14, the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on the 18th Street Expressway.
Police reports show that three vehicles collided on the southbound side of the expressway between Kansas Avenue and Metropolitan Avenue.
Authorities responded to the scene of the accident to provide care for the victims. Five people were injured as a result of the crash. All of the victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals for emergency care.
The police department is currently investigating the crash.
