Calhoun, MO (July 23, 2023) – At around 2:25 p.m. on July 22, the Missouri State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a crash in Henry County that ended in injuries.
According to official reports, a 2006 Saturn Ion was driving in the area of Northeast 400 Road and State Route Y during the afternoon hours. The vehicle turned at the intersection in front of a dirt bike. As a result, the two vehicles collided.
The rider, identified as 27-year-old Johnathan Childress of Osceola, Missouri, was injured due to the crash. He was transported by Lifeflight Eagle to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for emergency medical care.
At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating.
