Bates City, MO (June 7, 2023) – At 1:35 p.m. on June 5, emergency officials were called to the scene of a crash that took place in Bay City and ended in injuries.
According to official reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan was involved in a collision with a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck. The incident blocked Route Z just north of County Road 930 as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
Medics were called to care for victims who suffered injuries. A 2-year-old and a 4-year-old male were both injured in the accident. Two adults also suffered injuries. The victims were identified as 28-year-old Samantha Anderson and 42-year-old José Hernandez Garcia. All four victims were transported to Centerpoint Hospital for emergency medical services.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
