Warsaw, MO –  Man & Child Injured in Three-Vehicle Wreck on US-65 near Osage River Bridge

Warsaw, MO (June 17, 2023) – A crash involving three vehicles took place in Benton County on Thursday morning, leaving a man and a young child injured.

The crash was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 8:15 a.m. on June 15.

According to reports from officials, a collision between a 2018 Jeep Wrangler, a 2009 Ford Ranger, and a 2006 Porsche 911 took place in a construction zone located on the southbound side of US Highway 65. The incident caused delays in the area near the Osage River bridge.

All three vehicles were significantly damaged in the crash. They had to be towed from the scene.

Two people in the Jeep, identified as 52-year-old James Phillips and a 2-year-old boy, were injured. The two victims were transported to Lake Regional Hospital by Warsaw Lincoln EMS.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
