Excelsior Springs, MO (May 29, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 67-year-old David Daniels of Lawson, Missouri, lost his life as a result of a fatal car crash that took place in Ray County on Saturday morning, May 27.
At approximately 10:20 a.m., a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck turned left into a driveway traveling on Route M just north of Clevenger Road. As a result, a 2005 Harley-Davidson was traveling down the roadway and swerved to miss striking the Dodge Ram. Instead, the motorcycle collided with the 2016 Ford Fusion.
The Ford and the motorcycle both suffered significant damage in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. One person involved in the accident, identified as Daniels suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased on-site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
