Warrensburg, MO (May 19, 2023) – Three women were left injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in Johnsen County on Thursday evening, May 18.
At around 4:40 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a crash that took place on Missouri State Highway 13.
Reports from authorities show that a 2011 GMC Yukon was stopped on the southbound side of Missouri State Highway 13 while waiting to make a left turn onto YY Highway. For reasons unknown, the vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck. The impact of the crash forced the GMC into the northbound lane, where he collided with a 2010 Honda Insight.
The drivers of all three vehicles suffered injuries. EMS responded to the scene to transport 28-year-old Hailee Brown and 42-year-old Regina Harrelson to Western Missouri Medical Center. The third victim, 55-year-old Lesley Asher, was transported to Centerpoint Hospital. All of the victims were admitted with moderate injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
