Car Accidents in Missouri
We see tens of thousands of people injured as a result of automobile accidents in our state each year. In many cases, people are left with severe and traumatic injuries that affect their lives forever. Victims who suffer from traumatic brain injuries or spinal cord injuries often have to spend more than $100,000 on medical care.
Unfortunately, many of the collisions that we see flooding our roadways every year are preventable. Some of the leading factors in Missouri auto accidents include:
- Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- Improper or erratic lane changes
- Distracted driving, such as texting or using a cellphone while driving
- Vehicle malfunctions, such as tire blowouts or brake failure
- Driver fatigue or falling asleep at the wheel
- Speeding or reckless driving
When drivers fail to operate their vehicle in a manner that is safe for everyone around them, they can cause accidents that completely change the lives of innocent people.
