La Monte, MO – Three Hurt in Crash on MO-127 near Highway AA

La Monte, MO (November 1, 2023) – A motor vehicle collision reported in Pettis County left several people injured. The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were notified of the crash at around 6:00 p.m. on October 31.

MS HP trooper JW Hunter reported that the driver of a 2003 GMC Envoy pulled into the path of the 2018 GMC terrain while traveling on Missouri State Highway 127. As a result, the two vehicles collided head-on near Highway AA.

Three people suffered injuries as a result of the crash. The victims, identified as 21-year-old Cade Homan of Sedalia, Missouri, 24-year-old Ariel Harrelson of Warrensburg, Missouri, and 26-year-old Peyton Goetz of Sedalia, Missouri, were all transported to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency treatment.

The Pettis County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene to assist the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

At this time, investigations are being performed by authorities to determine the cause of the crash.
