Kansas City, MO – Three Killed in Car Crash on Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd near E 45th Terrace

Kansas City, MO (October 3, 2023) – Several individuals lost their lives as a result of an automobile accident that occurred in the Kansas City area on Sunday morning, October 1.

At around 1:00 a.m., officers with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard.

According to official reports, a vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it became involved in a collision. As a result, the vehicle, identified as a black Ford Taurus, went off the roadway and struck a tree near East 45th Terrace.

Authorities arrived at the scene and located the vehicle, which had severe damage and was resting off the roadway.

Three people in the vehicle were fatally injured. The victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department’s Accident Investigation Section (A.I.S.) is actively investigating the collision.
