Lee’s Summit, MO (October 26, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of an automobile accident in Jackson County that left one person injured. The accident occurred at around 1:45 p.m. on October 25.
According to reports provided by MS HP Cpl. DA Owens, a collision between a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette in the 2022 Ford F150 pickup truck took place on the westbound side of US Highway 50. The incident resulted in law enforcement officials closing off the roadway near Missouri State Route 7.
Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash and had to be removed from the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, 47-year-old Tehran Robbins of Roland Park, Kansas, was seriously injured. He was transported to Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri, for emergency care.
At this time, investigations are underway.
