Sedalia, MO (October 16, 2023) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident in Pettis County that left one woman injured.
At around 9:40 p.m. on October 14, MSHP reports indicate that the driver of a 2023 GMC Sierra was traveling on Highway 65 when it failed to yield to a 2017 Ford Escape. As a result, the two vehicles collided near Sacajawea Road.
The Ford was totaled in the accident. The GMC sustained significant damage. The Ford had to be towed from the scene.
A passenger in the Ford, identified as 50-year-old Rebecca Bryan of Cole Camp, Missouri, was seriously injured in the crash. She was transported by EMS to Bothwell Hospital, where she underwent emergency care.
No other injuries were reported in the crash. At this time, the Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating.
