Pettis Co., MO (April 28, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 74-year-old Linda Page of Smithton, Missouri, was injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred in Pettis County. The collision was reported to law enforcement at around 5:25 p.m. on April 25.
According to law enforcement reports, a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic was stopped on the eastbound side of US Highway 50 to yield for an oncoming oversized 2007 Peterbilt truck tractor-trailer near Route M. For reasons unknown, a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer crashed into the rear of the Sonic, causing the Sonic to crash into the Peterbilt. The Trailblazer and the Sonic were both totaled in the accident. The driver of the Chevrolet Sonic, identified as Page, was injured in the crash. She was transported to Bothwell Regional Medical Center for emergency care. The incident is being investigated.
