Car Accidents in Missouri

Every year, tens of thousands of people in our state are injured in car accidents, often suffering severe head trauma, internal organ damage, and broken bones. These injuries can have a devastating impact on a person’s life, affecting their health, financial stability, and overall well-being. When you suffer serious injuries in a crash, you have the right to file a personal injury claim to seek the compensation you deserve for your losses.

In Missouri, recovering compensation after a car crash involves understanding the state's pure comparative negligence rule for personal injury claims. This legal principle means that injured parties can still receive compensation even if they are partially at fault for the accident. The compensation is adjusted based on the percentage of fault attributed to the injured party. For example, if an injured person is found to be 99% at fault for an accident, they can still be awarded compensation for the remaining 1% of the damages.

Given the complexities of these cases, it is crucial to have a team of dedicated and knowledgeable Harrisonville car accident lawyers on your side. They can begin working on your case immediately to ensure you have the best chance of maximizing your compensation.
