Car Accidents in Missouri
Motor vehicle accidents can be dangerous, but collisions involving commercial vehicles, like trucks, often lead to more severe injuries. This risk is especially high for people in smaller vehicles when they are hit by much larger commercial trucks. The massive size and weight difference between these vehicles mean that the impact in auto accidents is often devastating.
Victims of these crashes frequently suffer serious injuries such as spinal cord damage, broken bones, and other traumatic injuries that require extensive medical treatment. Recovery from these injuries can be a long process, sometimes taking weeks or even months, during which victims might not be able to work. The financial strain from medical bills and lost income can add to the stress and difficulty of recovering from such a traumatic event.
