Warrensburg, MO (August 29, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 30-year-old Austin Neff of Poinsett, Arkansas, was seriously injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Warrensburg area.
At around 5:05 a.m. on August 28, a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia traveled on US Highway 50. As the vehicles waited on the turn lane just west of Devasher Road to make a turn onto the southbound side of the roadway, the two vehicles collided. The impact of the crash caused the Chevrolet to become lodged under the semi-truck and dragged several feet down the roadway. The Chevrolet was totaled as a result of the accident. Neff, who was driving the Chevrolet, was rushed to Research Hospital in Kansas City for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
