Warsaw, MO (August 13, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Warsaw area left four people injured. The collision was reported to law enforcement at around 10:50 p.m. on August 11.
Reports from Benton County officials indicate that a 2007 Jeep Cherokee and a 2016 Nissan Rogue collided on Highway seven. Further investigations determined that the Nissan broke down on the side of the Mile Long Bridge when the Jeep crashed into the rear of the automobile. The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to overturn. Both vehicles were totaled in the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
Four people were injured in the accident. Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to two 16-year-old females, 43-year-old Anthony Eades and 39-year-old Eric Schraeder. One of the 16-year-old girls required further medical care and was transported to Golden Valley Hospital by Lincoln Warsaw EMS. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
