Liberty, MO (February 14, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 26-year-old Krista Kuykendall of Liberty, Missouri, was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a car crash that occurred on Monday afternoon, February 12.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., a 2017 Kia Forte was stopped at the top of a ramp on the northbound side of Interstate 35 near Missouri 152. For unknown reasons, a 2011 Buick Enclave crashed into the rear of the vehicle. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and immediately shut down the road. The driver of the Kia, identified as Kuykendall, was injured. She was transported by Liberty EMS to North Kansas City Hospital, where she was treated for injuries. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
