Concordia, MO (July 30, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol and firefighters were requested at the scene of an automobile accident in which one woman was hurt. The collision was reported to officials at around 6:15 p.m. on July 27.
According to police reports, traffic was slowing down for a crash that occurred on the westbound side of Interstate 70 near mile marker 55.6. For unknown reasons, the driver of a 1986 Ford Ranger failed to break in time. As a result, the vehicle crashed into the rear of a 2020 Jeep Renegade. The impact of the crash caused the Jeep to overturn and strike a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the Jeep was injured. The victim, identified as 32-year-old Denise Flowe, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by Concordia EMS for further treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
