Car Accidents in Missouri

Each year, a significant number of individuals experience injuries from car accidents, enduring severe spinal cord fractures, deep cuts, and other serious injuries that demand extensive medical care.

In Missouri, various common factors contribute to car accidents on the roads. Distracted driving, such as texting, talking on the phone, eating, or adjusting the radio while driving, emerges as a major cause. These distractions take the driver's attention away from the road, escalating the risk of a collision. Speeding and reckless driving actions like tailgating and changing lanes without signaling also notably increase the chances of accidents by diminishing the driver's ability to respond effectively to sudden traffic changes. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is another prevalent factor that impairs judgment and reaction times, frequently leading to severe consequences. Additionally, adverse weather conditions such as rain, fog, or snowstorms contribute to many car accidents across Missouri, making roads slippery and reducing visibility, thereby causing drivers to lose control of their vehicles.
