Kansas City, MO (July 3, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to supply help at the scene of an automobile accident that occurred in Clay County and left one person hurt. The collision took place at around 9:24 p.m. on July 1.
According to reports provided by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2017 Dodge Charger crashed into the rear of a 2011 Ford Escape while traveling on the northbound side of Interstate 35. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking multiple lanes of the roadway just south of Northeast Parvin Road. Both cars were totaled in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Ford, identified as 30-year-old Haylie Hoffman of Kansas City, Missouri, was injured. Hoffman was transported to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
