Kansas City, MO (July 21, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a car crash in Clay County that ended in injuries. The collision occurred at around 2:45 p.m. on July 19.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2025 International tractor failed to stop at a stop light located on the eastbound Missouri Highway 210 ramp from southbound Interstate 435. As a result, the vehicle collided with a 2014 GMC Acadia. The Acadia was severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene. Two people were hurt in the crash. EMS rendered aid to 18-year-old Selina Bench and 48-year-old Christopher Bench. Both victims were then transported to North Kansas City Hospital for medical care. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
