Liberty, MO (July 18, 2024) – Emergency crews out of Clay County were requested at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in which two people were hurt. The crash was reported at around 5:45 p.m. on July 15.
Reports show that a 2023 Dodge Charger and a 2005 Saturn Vue collided on the north side of US Highway 69. Authorities arrived at the scene and located both vehicles blocking the road near Missouri Highway 33. Both cars were severely damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. Two people involved in the accident were hurt. Emergency medical services provided treatment to 56-year-old Terry Roberts and 42-year-old Jason Green. Green was subsequently transported to Liberty Hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
