Pleasant Hill, MO (July 9, 2024) – A motorcycle accident reported in Cass County left two people seriously injured. The accident was reported to the Missouri State Highway Patrol at around 12:30 p.m. on July 6.
Police reports show that a 2020 Harley-Davidson was traveling on Highway 58 during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area just west of Pleasant Hill, a 2015 Chevrolet Impala turned in front of them while entering a driveway. As a result, the two vehicles collided. The motorcycle was totaled as a result of the accident. Two people on the motorcycle, identified as 59-year-old Sarah Wright and 62-year-old James Neitch, both suffered serious injuries. The two victims were rushed to Research Medical Center by Pleasant Hill EMS. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
