Kansas City, MO (June 11, 2024) – On June 8, emergency crews out of Clay County were requested at the scene of a car crash that occurred in Kansas City and ended in injuries.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at around 2:20 p.m., a collision involving a 2009 Honda Pilot and a 2018 Ford F550 pickup truck collided on the southbound side of Interstate 35. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles, which had significant damage blocking the roadway near Brighton Avenue. The Honda had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Honda, 28-year-old Lydia Jones of Kansas City, Missouri, was injured. EMS transported her to North Kansas City Hospital for emergency care.
