Lee’s Summit, MO (June 21, 2024) – Authorities were summoned to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Jackson County. The crash took place at around 6:20 p.m. on June 19.
According to authorities, a 2013 Ford F-150 crashed into the ear of a 202 Hyundai Venue on the westbound side of Interstate 470. The impact of the crash caused the Hyundai to crash into the rear of a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. The Jetta then rotated around and struck a 2010 Ford F-150 pickup truck. A 2023 Kia Stinger then collided with the 2013 Ford F-150 pickup truck while trying to avoid the collision. Three people were hurt in the crash. EMS tended to 25-year-old Cassidy Wright, 35-year-old Eric Ramsey, and 56-year-old Brady Watson. Ramsey was then transported to Research Hospital for medical care. Wright and Watson were both transported to St Luke. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
