Orearville, MO (June 19, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a car crash that sent two people to area hospitals with injuries. The wreck occurred at around 12:40 p.m. on June 17.
According to official reports, a motor vehicle accident involving a 1998 Honda Accord, a 2008 Ford Ranger, and a 1997 Freightliner occurred on Missouri Highway 240. The incident prompted authorities to close down the roadway near Missouri Route P. Two people involved in the crash were injured. EMS responded to care for 18-year-old Autumn Gier and 21-year-old Miranda Cooper. Gier was transported by EMS to Fitzgibbons Hospital for medical care. Cooper was transported by Life Flight to University Hospital Columbia for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
