Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were called to the scene of the incident at approximately 8:10 a.m. on March 14.

Preliminary reports show that a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was traveling eastbound on Missouri Highway 58. At the same time, a 2006 Chevrolet Impala was traveling northbound on County Road Southwest 1001. At this time, the incident is being investigated.

Our thoughts are with Joan Lerda as we hope for her full recovery.
