Knob Noster, MO (May 25, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Johnson County sent one woman to an area hospital with injuries. The collision took place at around 2:20 p.m. on May 23.
According to police reports, a 2013 Dodge Avenger was traveling eastbound on US Highway 50. As the vehicle made a lane change into the left lane just east of Route D, it crashed into a 2008 Mercury Mariner. The impact sent the Mercury off the side of the roadway, where it overturned. Both vehicles were severely damaged in the crash and had to be towed from the scene. The driver of the Mercury, 62-year-old Connie Borgstadt, was injured in the crash. She was transported by Johnson County ambulance to Western Missouri Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
