Garden City, MO (September 16, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident was reported at around 11:35 a.m. on September 15 in Cass County. The incident left two people injured.

According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2018 RAM Power Train was driving down the roadway when it failed to stop at a stop sign located at the intersection of Route T and East 307th Street. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection, it entered the path of a 2017 Nissan Altima. The two vehicles collided. The impact of the collision sent both vehicles off the side of the roadway, where the Nissan struck a stop sign. Both vehicles were totaled in the accident and had to be towed from the scene. Emergency medical services provided treatment to 42-year-old Jacob Ruch and 64-year-old Charles Davis. Davis was then transported to Cass County Regional Medical Center by EMS. The incident is under investigation.

We hope Jacob Ruch and Charles Davis recover quickly.
