Car Accidents in Missouri

Tens of thousands of people in Missouri suffer injuries in car accidents each year, with many experiencing severe trauma, such as head injuries, internal organ damage, and broken bones. These types of injuries can have life-altering effects, impacting a person’s health, livelihood, and overall well-being. When serious injuries occur in a car crash, it’s essential to know that you have the right to file a personal injury claim to seek compensation for your losses.

Missouri follows a pure comparative negligence rule in personal injury cases, meaning injured parties can still recover compensation even if they are partially responsible for the accident. However, the compensation will be reduced according to the percentage of fault assigned to the injured party. For example, if you are found to be 99% at fault, you can still receive compensation for the remaining 1% of the damages.
