North Kansas City, MO (September 17, 2024) – The Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that 70-year-old Michael Podgornik was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Clay County on Monday evening, September 16.
At around 9:55 p.m., a collision between a 1999 Mercury Sable and a 2024 Toyota RAV4 took place on Interstate 35. Authorities arrived at the scene and located both vehicles, totaling damages and blocking the road near Armour Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene due to the extent of damage.
