Warrensburg, MO (September 9, 2024) – A 55-year-old bicyclist was injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers were dispatched to the crash site at around 10:30 a.m. on September 7.
Police reports show that 55-year-old Markus Morgan was driving a bicycle east on Northwest 450 Road, Route OO, near Northwest 111th Road. As he proceeded through the area, he was struck by a 2023 Ford F550 pickup truck. Morgan was severely hurt as a result of the accident. He was rushed to Centerpoint Medical Center, where he underwent emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
